Meanwhile, Steve has been busy attending Paris Fashion week and connecting with some European teams before coming back to US to do more promotion. He is currently visiting Morocco for another fashion runway! He is also working on his upcoming US/EU tour plans into fall 2022
At 23-year old, Steve Lacy is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and producer! Born and raised in Compton, CA to an African American mother and Filipino father, he was introduced to the music industry in 2015 as a member (guitarist) of Cali based R&B group, The Internet. Since then, Steve has released 3 solo projects Steve Lacy’s Demo, Apollo XXI and The Lo-Fis. Now Steve Lacy is working on his next album, "Gemini Rights" due July 15th. This has been preceded by "Mercury" and “Bad Habit” on June 29th, both with videos launching in line.
Steve has been a frequent collaborator with a deep list of writing, production and feature credits with artists including Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Tyler, Mac Miller, The Internet, Thundercat, GoldLink, Solange, YG, Vampire Weekend, and Kali Uchis to name a few. Steve’s most popular singles include “Dark Red”, “C U Girl”, “N Side” & “Some”. “Dark Red” gained him notoriety in big markets including UK and Australia and the love of the critics around the world.
